Vestas is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in the Netherlands. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and service of wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the Maasvlakte Rotterdam area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines and perform daily maintenance and other field service-related tasks.
- Responsible for electrical and mechanical operations, including installation activities and usage of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control.
- Covering installation activities, creating follow-up orders, and working with high voltage.
- Working to the highest safety and environmental standards while ensuring that service targets are met.
- Carry out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas specifications, including component replacement (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic) and troubleshooting on the systems.
Requirements:
- Experience or degree within electricity or mechanics, with a strong eagerness to develop skills within these areas.
- Hydraulic experience is a significant plus.
- Professional experience in this area, with a basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Very good knowledge of Dutch and English, with a driver's license class B.
