Als Consultant Sustainability Assurance bij KPMG-Nederland werk je samen met een team van toegewijde ESG-professionals aan een divers scala van nationale en internationale topklanten. Samen met je team werk je aan deze projecten, waarbij je de informatie van het bedrijf over verschillende milieu- en maatschappelijke onderwerpen verzekert.
Je werkt samen met collega's van verschillende afdelingen en landen aan opdrachten voor meerdere internationale klanten. Je werkt samen met klanten, collega's en specialisten op het gebied van ESG-onderwerpen zoals CO2-uitstoot, mensenrechten en biodiversiteit. Je bent betrokken bij opdrachten op het gebied van ESG rapportage en CSRD compliance.
Je ondersteunt onze klanten door ervoor te zorgen dat hun duurzaamheidsinformatie accuraat is. Je voert interviews uit met bedrijven om inzicht te krijgen in hun processen en om te onderzoeken of er maatregelen nodig zijn om ervoor te zorgen dat de informatie in het verslag correct is. Met hetzelfde doel ga je op (site)visit bij je klanten (mogelijk in verschillende landen).
Je werkt in teams waarin geautomatiseerde web-, data- en tekstanalysetools worden gebruikt om te controleren of het rapport een nauwkeurige en volledige weergave van de werkelijkheid is.
Wat ga jij doen in deze functie?
Als Consultant binnen het KPMG Sustainability Reporting & Assurance team bevind je je in de voorhoede van sustainability assurance en -rapportage. Je werkt samen met een team van toegewijde ESG-professionals aan een divers scala van nationale en internationale topklanten. Samen met je team werk je aan deze projecten, waarbij je de informatie van het bedrijf over verschillende milieu- en maatschappelijke onderwerpen verzekert.
Na een uitgebreid inwerkproces integreer je in ons netwerk en draag je actief bij aan het realiseren van de ambities van onze klanten wereldwijd. Naast het werken aan klantprojecten, werk je aan thought leadership, krijg je training in persoonlijke ontwikkeling en inhoudelijke kennis, en ervaar je alle sociale voordelen die horen bij een snelgroeiende en dynamische KPMG-afdeling.
Als Consultant werk je, als onderdeel van het team, voornamelijk aan de deliverables van de klant door data op te vragen, te verzamelen, te structureren, analyses uit te voeren en rapporten op te stellen. Je hebt interactie met het team van de klant over onderwerpen en opkomende kwesties. In je rol signaleer je deze kwesties aan je senior collega's en ondersteun je hen bij complexere zaken.
