Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Buyer to join our Private Label department in Hilversum. This dynamic team is responsible for the creation, development, and procurement of collections for our women's fashion labels, including Anytime, Ruby, Great Looks, Imagine, and Miljuschka x Wehkamp. As we embark on an ambitious growth journey, we are looking for an equally driven individual to support our buying efforts.

In this role, you will play a vital part in the buying process, collaborating closely with (Senior) Buyers and working alongside colleagues in Merchandise Planning, Styling, Quality Control, and Marketing. Your involvement will span the lively product development process and critical path management, as well as the exciting challenges of e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of an on-trend product offering and seasonal range.
  • Maintain daily communication with suppliers and external partners.
  • Oversee and manage the administrative aspects of the purchasing process.
  • Prepare weekly sales analyses and provide product performance recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure optimal product visibility and promotion.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A passion for fashion and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • A bachelor's degree with a specialization in fashion and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Full-time availability and the ability to work from our creative location in Hilversum.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent knowledge of fashion trends in the European and Dutch markets, along with a commercial mindset.
