Equipment Specialist

As an Equipment Engineer at HIP BV, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Equipment and Process Engineering organization. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain, initiate, and implement technical improvements to ensure the highest level of product quality, throughput, and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and continuously improve equipment to meet safety and quality requirements, adhering to applicable standards and validation improvements on the shop floor.
- Proactively collaborate with manufacturing to identify and address structural technical problems, material quality issues, and bottlenecks, driving improvement actions until successful implementation.
- Contribute technical knowledge and experience to improvement projects, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency.
- Define and secure the availability of production tools, initiate upgrades, support maintenance actions, and solve safety issues.
- Coordinate quality-related escalations to customers and support manufacturing in securing production progress.
The furnace engineering department is a modern engineering organization with a strong focus on improvements. Our team is diverse, energetic, and collaborative, with a passion for continuous improvement. We are a close-knit team of 12 engineers, working together to achieve a higher goal.
Requirements- A BSc. or MSc. degree in Automotive engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical engineering, or a relevant technical area.
- More than 3 years of working experience, with hands-on experience.
- Experience and knowledge of ASM A400 Classic and/or DUO systems are preferred.
- Knowledge of complex production processes in a high-tech environment and Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, statistical machine control, FMEA, and Quality Management Systems are also preferred.
- Proficiency in Dutch (minimum B2) and English (minimum B) is required.
