We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at Vivid Resourcing. As a key member of our data platform, you will design, implement, and oversee the cloud infrastructure, working closely with colleagues to ensure a secure and efficient environment.
**Key Tasks**
- Design and implement AWS services for our centralized data platform, taking into account scalability, speed, usage, and pricing considerations.
- Evaluate and automate the provisioning of cloud resources, setting up monitoring and management processes for short-term and long-term sustainability.
- Collaborate with cloud infra colleagues to devise a cloud strategy, supporting Data team members in selecting and implementing suitable services.
**Essential Skills**
- A Bachelor or Master's degree in a technical field like ICT, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role, with extensive knowledge of AWS services.
- Familiarity with Terraform and DevOps principles, as well as network infrastructure and security.
