Analytical Chemistry Technician

Our client is a well-established organization in Europe specializing in the removal of a wide range of hazardous materials from contaminated soil and wastewater. This initiative leads to reduced waste, lower CO2 emissions, and smarter reuse of scarce resources. You will be part of the quality control laboratory, working alongside a team of 18 colleagues. As an Analytical Chemistry Technician, you will be assigned to one of four different departments: Water, Fuel, Soil, or Sludge, based on your experience and the needs of the organization. In the quality control lab, you will conduct various wet chemical and instrumental analyses according to established protocols. Your work will contribute to a cleaner, circular world.
Key Responsibilities:

• Independently performing analyses in the quality control laboratory
• Engaging in wet chemical techniques (e.g., titration, distillation) and instrumental analyses (ICP, HPLC, GC, UV/VIS)
• Sample preparation, interpretation, and processing of results are also part of your responsibilities.

We are looking for the following qualifications in an Analytical Chemistry Technician:

• A completed MLO-3 or MLO-4 education in analytical chemistry
• Applicants with a completed HBO degree seeking an operational role are also encouraged to apply
• Relevant (internship) experience with at least some of the mentioned analytical techniques is required
• Fluent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
• Possession of personal transportation

• Salary range of €2400 to €3626 gross per month based on full-time employment
