We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA Engineer to join our Data Management services team. As a champion of systems, infrastructure automation, and security, you will focus on using the latest cloud technologies to architect, scale, and monitor our services and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive automation of Oracle Cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
  • Contribute to infrastructure improvements, architecture, development, and deployment
  • Provide guidance and advice to team members using your strong understanding of Oracle Cloud services
  • Implement security baselines and standards for resources
  • Work with application teams to support digital transformation goals
  • Create observability strategies with a focus on self-healing mechanisms
  • Collaborate with data engineering, product, and design teams to ensure smooth releases
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle database administration (DBA)
  • Additional database technology experience (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL)
  • Database migrations, Exadata CS setup, and automation
  • Github/Github Actions
  • Writing reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for multi-environment setups
  • Scripting languages (e.g., Ansible, Shell, Python, PowerShell)
  • SaaS-based Observability solutions
  • DevOps, CI/CD
  • Mongodb
