Your Role as a QHSE & ESG Compliance Specialist:
In the capacity of a QHSE & ESG Compliance Specialist, you will be tasked with the development and implementation of quality, health & safety, environmental, and security protocols. Your responsibilities will include identifying potential hazards, evaluating risks, and taking necessary actions. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure adherence to all customer, legal, and regulatory standards. Together with your colleagues, you will strive to uphold the highest QHSE and ESG benchmarks. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Enhancing and ensuring excellence in QHSE and ESG practices.
  • Partnering with HR, IT, and Facilities to achieve health & safety, emergency preparedness, and environmental objectives.
  • Guaranteeing compliance with quality, safety, and environmental regulations by obtaining and maintaining necessary certifications.
  • Coordinating and executing both internal and external audits.
  • Supporting management while advocating for QHSE & ESG policies and goals.

Your Work Environment:
You will operate independently within a team of approximately 165 professionals, with collaboration occurring across various locations. The company promotes a casual and straightforward work culture where teamwork and cooperation are paramount.

Do You Meet the Requirements?
In this position, precision is vital as you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining safety and environmental protocols. You should be a unifying presence on the work floor, capable of garnering support and implementing necessary changes. Additionally, you should possess:

  • A degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A qualification as a QHSE – ESG Coordinator or KAM Coordinator is highly preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a comparable role.
  • Current knowledge of QHSE & ESG regulations, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001.
  • A VCA VOL certification.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is advantageous.
