Associate Director QC Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Director to lead the QC Lab Operations and QC Support teams at Galapagos, a dynamic and fast-growing Biotech company. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing direction on the strategy and processes for the QC Lab Operations and QC Support teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the QC Lab Operations and QC Support teams, using hands-on expertise to provide guidance on compliance, processes, and prioritization.
- Define and implement the short-term and long-term strategy for testing, laboratory maintenance, equipment lifecycle, and sample management.
- Lead GMP readiness activities for internal laboratories and processes.
- Execute risk assessments as needed.
- Ensure compliance while keeping processes simple and efficient.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure strategy and processes are aligned and communicated.
- Write, review, or approve procedures, protocols, and reports.
- Support compliance-related topics, including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and regulatory filings.
Galapagos is a leading global biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development, and commercialization of innovative medicines to improve patients' lives.
