Join Our Team as a UI Designer

We're seeking a talented UI Designer to join our team. As a UI Designer, you'll work closely with our end users, UX designers, Product Owners, and Product Development teams to create user-friendly interfaces. Your main focus will be to convert user needs and functional roadmap items into user interface designs, participating in user testing and investigation on user experience in collaboration with our Business Analysts and Product Owners.

Responsibilities
  • Transform user needs and functional requirements into beautiful, easy-to-use UI designs.
  • Develop wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and solutions.
  • Participate in user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Closely work with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
  • Collaborate with product owners to help them visualise different design options to solve usability problems.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the user experience of our web application, using data and feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Be on top of our design system and ensure it's up to date and always ready to be used by our development teams.
  • Collaborate with our UX designers and mentor our frontend developers and development teams in UI design-related topics.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in UI design for web and mobile applications.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Curiosity on user research and usability testing and interest in growing more in the area.
  • Capable of making decisions based on abstract data.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (or Sketch or Adobe XD).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Fluent Dutch and English languages.
