Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Protection Automation & Control Engineer to join our project team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for engineering, realization, and commissioning phases, collaborating with sales teams and other project engineers to ensure customer requirements are met.

Your role will involve preparing technical documentation, configuring hardware, and conducting technical tests. During Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), you'll guide customers through the systems, addressing their questions in close collaboration with the project manager. You'll also lead the commissioning on-site, managing any issues and ensuring successful Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). Stand-by services are part of the role and come with additional compensation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering with verifiable work experience in energy automation and protection.
  • Familiarity with solutions such as SIPROTEC, SICAM, A8000, Ruggedcom, SCALANCE, and Spectrum Power 5, including configuration and testing tools like DIGSI 4 & 5, Toolbox II, Device Manager, SICAM PTS, and OMICRON Test Universe, is highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel for projects both within the Netherlands and abroad.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Professional-level writing and reporting skills in Dutch or English are required.
  • STIPEL certification (WV, VCA VL, and NEN 3140/3840) is an advantage.
