Job Title: Reachtruck Operator

We are seeking a skilled Reachtruck Operator to join our team at Olympia. As a Reachtruck Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse.

Job Summary:

The Reachtruck Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating reach trucks, stackers, and electric pallet trucks to manage and organize warehouse inventory. This includes accurately recording and tracking the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, properly storing items in designated locations, and retrieving them for order fulfillment as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate reach trucks, stackers, and electric pallet trucks to manage and organize warehouse inventory.
  • Accurately record and track the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.
  • Properly store items in designated locations and retrieve them for order fulfillment as needed.
  • Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to streamline and optimize stock movements.
  • Check goods for any damage and ensure they meet the company's quality standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Quickly address and resolve any issues related to stock discrepancies, equipment problems, or safety concerns.
Requirements:
  • Valid MHE operator certification is preferred but not mandatory; prior experience is required.
  • Full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Availability for one weekend day twice a month is essential.
  • Proficient in safety protocols and the safe operation of equipment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness for navigating tight spaces.
  • Detail-oriented to ensure precise pallet stacking and accurate inventory management.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
  • Strong communication skills and effective teamwork abilities.
