Objective
Photonis is particularly focused on automation and the intelligent application of robotics to alleviate ergonomic challenges faced by our production workforce, minimize variability, and enhance yield and efficiency. Quality control is integral to the production of image intensifier tubes, ensuring that our offerings meet the stringent quality benchmarks set by Photonis. This commitment guarantees that our clients receive superior quality products, leveraging cutting-edge technology.
Project Aim
The primary goal is to create an industrial-grade measurement system tailored for our image intensifier tubes. In this project, you will evaluate current inspection methodologies and expand upon the existing measurement system utilized in production. This will involve controlling a Data Acquisition system to operate pneumatic devices and interfacing with various sensors, including industrial-grade optics. You will also enhance the existing Graphical User Interface and refine computer vision algorithms developed in Python.
By the conclusion of your project, Photonis aims to integrate the upgraded measurement system into production. You will validate the measurement system through a comprehensive statistical analysis and collaborate closely with one of our computer vision engineers, who will serve as your supervisor.
