Polymer Process Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our Polymer Process Engineering team at SABIC. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity of our polymer plants, including the review of SHE-studies, maintenance of plant operating windows, and analysis of asset performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and propose manufacturing-driven technological improvements to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.
- Prepare and initiate process improvements and optimizations, including process engineering scoping of projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, select, and allocate resources for plant improvement opportunities.
- Review and analyze asset performance data to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
- Develop and maintain process engineering documentation, including process flow diagrams and operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Up to 5 years of relevant experience in the petrochemical industry, preferably in manufacturing or R&D.
- Knowledge of polymer plants and processes.
- Experience in developing, designing, and optimizing chemical installations.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of process safety principles.
