About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Data Officer to join our team at ABN AMRO. As a key member of our Compliance Operations Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of compliance risks across the bank.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead budget and capacity planning, as well as the analysis of action versus plan. You will also be responsible for helping to keep abreast of regulatory requirements and market standards/practices with respect to the Compliance Function, and inspiring solutions for continuous improvement.

In addition, you will enhance data-driven reporting within the Compliance Function, working closely with the Compliance Risk Management team to achieve defined results.

About the Team

The Compliance Operations Office is a global integrated function that maintains oversight of all countries in which ABN AMRO operates, including all subsidiaries (national and international). We have a team of approximately 350 staff members across the globe, and we are committed to building an effective compliance culture, programme, and Compliance Function.

As a Compliance Data Officer, you will work in a small team and report directly to the Head Compliance Office. You will have the opportunity to contribute to building effective compliance in ABN AMRO, broaden and deepen your knowledge on all key building blocks of the Compliance Function, and build an extensive network of stakeholders in Compliance across the globe.

About You
  • You have a keen interest in Compliance related subjects and a willingness to become an expert in this field.
  • You have knowledge of Data & how to interpret large data sets.
  • You are strong in working in Excel.
  • You are someone who is experienced dealing with complex stakeholder fields.
  • You take initiative and lead by example.
  • You are eager to do your work better each day by improving and learning.
  • You have a background in Risk, Analytics, Compliance or Consulting.
