Key Responsibilities
As a Gas Safety Compliance Engineer, you will be tasked with interpreting international regulations and standards, translating them into precise safety requirements for various stakeholders within ASML. You will also assist in reviewing project designs to ensure compliance with safety standards. The role requires collaboration with cross-sector stakeholders, necessitating effective communication skills to align safety requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing and interpreting safety regulations and standards related to hazardous gases, translating them into actionable requirements for ASML personnel.
- Documenting requirements in high-level safety assurance documents and guidelines for users.
- Implementing safety requirements across relevant organizational stakeholders.
- Participating in project specifications and requirements reviews, providing guidance on optimal solutions.
- Developing training programs to ensure that project teams possess adequate knowledge of dangerous gas safety.
- Collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams to devise structural solutions for safety and compliance across various sectors.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in a Gas Safety or compliance role, or 3 years in an architectural role at ASML.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards (e.g., NEN/IEC, OSHA, ISO).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
