Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Microbiology Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Microbiology department, you will be responsible for independently performing microbiological analyses, carrying out laboratory management tasks, and reporting any deviations to the Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological analyses according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Carry out laboratory management tasks, including conducting and processing control samples, maintaining checklists, and reporting any deviations to the Supervisor
- Process data in LIMS and correctly handle equipment, maintaining it according to current guidelines
- Keep the laboratory clean and prevent contamination and abnormal Environmental Sampling Plan (ESP) results
- Be familiar with relevant Mérieux Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the quality manual in accordance with ISO 17025, and apply the rules
- Notify the Supervisor of deviations and record them through the improvement cycle system
- Act as a trainer for certain activities in the lab and participate in improvement projects, actively contributing to improvements
Requirements
- At least an MLO3 level
- Several years of experience in a Microbiology laboratory
- Enjoy working in a team and can adapt to changing situations
What We Offer
- A full-time gross salary starting from €2,400 per month, depending on professional experience
- A holiday allowance equal to 8% of the annual gross salary
- A full-time position of 40 hours per week
- An advantageous pension scheme
- A one-year employment contract, with the intention of moving to permanent employment thereafter
- 27 vacation days per year with a full-time job
- A fixed travel allowance of up to a maximum of €140 net per month for a full-time job
