Job Description

Job Title: Senior Data Science Consultant

Sia Partners is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Science Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our data science practice, you will be responsible for developing and implementing complex models to support our clients' business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement machine learning and statistical models to support business decision-making
  • Design and implement optimization solutions using operational research techniques
  • Work with large datasets to extract insights and develop predictive models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions
  • Manage and deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g. computer science, econometrics, statistics, operations research)
  • At least 3 years of experience in data science or a related field
  • Excellent programming skills in Python and experience with scripting languages (R, MATLAB, JS, bash) or compiled languages (C++, Java)
  • Strong understanding of machine learning and statistical concepts
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
