Risk Governance Expert

About the Role

Fugro is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Professional to join our Enterprise Risk Management team in Leidschendam, The Netherlands. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting a risk culture within the organization and ensuring the effective management of our risk framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of Fugro's overall risk management framework, including governance, taxonomy, risk identification, and facilitation of workshops.
• Ensure that Fugro's risk management standards and policies are up-to-date and implemented across regions and at the corporate level.
• Provide insight into risk exposures and performance against set risk appetite to support decision-making at various levels within the organization.
• Maintain the corporate risk registers, including validation and identification of potential new risks.
• Participate in and facilitate risk workshops at various levels within the organization.
• Ensure effective interaction with relevant stakeholders, including Internal Control and Internal Audit.
• Integrate ESG factors into Fugro's overall risk management framework in close cooperation with the sustainability function.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Finance, Economics, or relevant Risk Management education.
• 6+ years of relevant working experience in an international context.
• Sound understanding of risk management practices, preferably CRMA or willingness to obtain qualification.
• Proven experience and/or interest in risk management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
