Sustainability Advocate

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advocacy Manager to join our Impact and Economics department at Triodos Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our advocacy strategy and activities, driving positive change in the financial sector, and contributing to our mission of creating a better world.

• Develop and implement effective advocacy strategies to promote sustainable finance and influence policy reforms in the EU and globally.
• Manage and coordinate advocacy activities, including campaigns, public dialogue, and events, to raise awareness and mobilize support for our change finance agenda.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including politicians, NGOs, and industry partners, to advance our advocacy goals.
• Develop and maintain documentation and planning on our public positions and legislative trajectories, and track the contributions of our different business units.
• Organize and lead projects related to our advocacy activities, including research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

• Strong experience in advocacy, public affairs, and/or campaigning in an international or European context.
• Excellent knowledge of sustainable finance, financial regulation, and system thinking, as well as one of our five transition themes.
• Proven track record of leading projects, collaborating in different coalitions, and advocating for different subjects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, with other languages an advantage.
