Retail Business Manager

Role PurposeAs a Retail Business Manager, you will embody our desire to engage, listen, and guide customers to products that are relevant to them. You will oversee and develop the Belgium and the Netherlands stores and counters, ensuring the achievement of sales targets in each location. You will also ensure the consistent delivery of the Aesop way of customer service and operational excellence by actively coaching, developing, and motivating your staff.
Key Responsibilities- Manage sales performance by defining and implementing sales targets for assigned shops and counters, analysing sales performance, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Manage and develop a high-performance team by recruiting, integrating, and training talent, motivating and coaching teams to achieve their individual and collective objectives, and fostering a positive and stimulating working environment.
- Manage the customer experience by training and coaching shop and counter teams to deliver memorable customer service, overseeing the implementation of in-store marketing and brand promotion strategies, and managing the visual presentation of shops and products.
- You are a passionate and motivated leader with proven multi-site management experience in a retail environment (minimum 5 years).
- You are fluent in English and Dutch, French is a plus.
- You have excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills and a good understanding of financial analysis and management.
- You are a creative and proactive person, capable of implementing innovative strategies.
- You are an ambassador for the Aesop brand, sharing its values and commitment to excellence.
- You have a good command of the Office package, including Excel.
