About the Job

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Engineer to join our team and play a key role in improving the security of our cloud infrastructure. As an IT Security Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing the security of our solution providers, automating recurring manual work in IT security control activities, and developing best practices and security standards with NN's security officers.

The specific responsibilities of the IT Security Engineer include:

  • Improving the security fundamentals for NN Bank
  • Automating recurring manual work in IT security control activities and automating security requirements in our CI/CD pipelines
  • Supporting and coaching DevOps teams in their secure software development process and promoting (cloud-native) application security
  • Assessing security documentation and providing advice to one of NN Bank's business domains
  • Identifying current and emerging security technologies, trends, vulnerabilities, and threats, and playing an active part in managing risks
  • Assessing (new) service providers regarding their security

About You

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience working in a security-related domain with hands-on development experience. Understanding and familiarity with AWS/Azure and working knowledge of different DevOps tools are also essential. Security certifications are good to have, although not mandatory. Language skills: English is required, Dutch is considered an asset.

We offer a competitive salary between €3.5K - €4.5K per month, depending on your knowledge and experience. Additionally, you will receive:
