Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Testing Intern to join our team in Bergschenhoek. As a Laboratory Testing Intern, you will have the opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art laboratories, conducting experiments and testing on seeds. You will be working closely with our experienced team to develop and implement quality control processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and experiments on seeds, including preparing bacterial plates, counting seeds, and grinding them.
• Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
• Support the maintenance of laboratory equipment and ensure that all necessary documentation is up-to-date.
• Contribute to the development of new seed varieties and testing protocols.

Requirements

• Currently studying at an MBO level 4 in a related field, such as laboratory testing or a related field.
• Knowledge of quality organization and processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
