About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to join our team at Hitachi Construction Machinery. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our pricing strategy, conducting market analyses, and supporting our purchase and sales departments to maximize departmental profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine and develop new parts pricing and business models in consultation with the Manager Parts Sales, taking into account strategic, tactical, and operational considerations.
  • Define and process information to transform into business analytics reports using IDMS, Power BI, Syncron, and Excel to inform pricing strategy.
  • Assess pricing structure, including sales prices, discounts, and net prices, to provide recommendations for optimized pricing structure.
  • Project manage, plan, organize, and manage projects to increase revenue and maximize profit.
  • Perform market research on competitor and dealer pricing levels.
  • Analyze pricing data from industry standards, sales data, and competitors to identify sales market price.
  • Ensure efficient and customer-driven handling of operational pricing matters.
Requirements
  • Ability to analyze market and supplier data and convert it into solid action plans.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, MS Power BI, and strong data analytical skills, with knowledge of Synchron and MS D365 desired.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Confidence in negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.
