Job Description

You will be working in a dynamic environment at Olympia, a company that produces raw materials for the food industry. Our team works in small shifts, and the products we make are shipped to customers worldwide. Our large and organized warehouse is your working place, where you will help with both incoming and outgoing goods. You will be properly trained by the team leader, allowing you to quickly find your way and work independently. Our team has an open and good atmosphere, and you can enjoy a nice lunch with colleagues while getting free coffee, soup, or tea.

This is a full-time job in the afternoon shift, from Monday to Friday. Your day starts at 14:30, and you're done at 23:00.

Job Responsibilities

As a forklift driver, your primary task is to ensure that all products end up in the right place. Your day starts with a cup of coffee or tea, followed by a short meeting with the previous shift to discuss the day's plan. Your responsibilities include:

  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Signing CRM forms and arranging administration
  • Moving products from production to the warehouse using the forklift
  • And the other way around
  • Checking the quality of products and taking samples
  • Performing a final check on labels and preparing orders for shipment
  • Sealing pallets and driving them to trucks

You will work in a small team in a large warehouse, with an independent and responsible function. Most of the time, you'll be found on the forklift.

Requirements

To be successful as a forklift driver:

  • You should speak Dutch or English
  • You should have experience on the forklift
  • You should live near Peel en Maas, Deurne, Venray, Helmond, Weert, or Eindhoven
Working Conditions

In addition to a full-time job of 40 hours per week, you can expect the following:

  • A starting salary of € 13.68 gross per hour, depending on your age and experience
  • 25 vacation days and 8.33% vacation pay
