Introduction

ASML is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Software Integration and Release group, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that drive innovation and efficiency in our tooling.

You will work closely with our development team, product owner, and other architects to create clear specifications, make efficient design choices, and ensure the successful integration of our tools. Your expertise in software development, architecture, and project management will be essential in guiding our team and identifying dependencies on others.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Software Architect, you will be involved in the entire development cycle, with a primary focus on designing and developing software needed to develop tooling and solutions. You will work closely with our Software Integration team to lead the design and release of our tools and solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying risks and developing mitigation plans
  • Guiding and coaching your development team on strategy and planning
  • Providing effort estimate roll-ups for work at hand
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc. or MSc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience as a lead designer or architect
  • Relevant experience in architecture and development of complex software systems
  • Experience with Python language
  • Experience with change and project management
Skills

We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, has a deep technical expertise, and is able to communicate effectively with other departments. You should be analytical, product-oriented, and have a keen eye for detail. You will be working in a highly complex and procedural environment, and you should be able to maintain proper design and code documentation.

Other Information

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
