Studyportals, a global leader in the higher education market, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tableau Developer to join its Analytics and Consulting Team.

The Product Development team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving our suite of client-facing dashboard products. As a Senior Tableau Developer, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our goals.

The Role

This full-time position is based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, at our headquarters in the historic Klokgebouw building. You will be part of a small product development team of four, working closely with a manager, a developer, an analytics engineer, and an analytics consultant.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining, improving, expanding, and managing our suite of Tableau dashboard modules
  • Helping manage dashboards on Tableau Cloud, optimizing data structure, and improving refresh speed
  • Developing dashboards based on high-level requirements
  • Assisting in taking documentation and standardization further

You will also be expected to educate junior team members in Tableau dashboard development as we plan to hire future talent.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5-10 years' experience in dashboard design
  • Tableau Desktop and/or Tableau Cloud admin experience, certifications greatly appreciated
  • Solid understanding of SQL and data architecture, especially its interaction with visualization platforms like Tableau
  • Experience in product development ownership, standardization, and documentation
  • Capability to own a product or project, independently coming up with ideas and tasks, and adapting them to changes in priorities
  • Ability to manage internal stakeholders and protect your own boundaries

You should thrive in an entrepreneurial atmosphere, enjoy open and honest feedback, and have EU citizenship or a valid residency/work permit.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary including a bonus and pension, 32 vacation days (with flexibility to take holidays), and the possibility to buy/sell 5 vacation days. You'll work three days from home and two from our office, with employee referral bonuses and an annual personal development budget. Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience.
