About the Job

As an Innovation Leader at AWL-Techniek, you will be responsible for driving the development of new products and technologies that add strategic value to the organization. You will lead a multidisciplinary development team of driven engineers who are passionate about software development.

The team will work in an agile way, using scrum methodology to carry out development iteratively and to demonstrate progress. As Innovation Leader, you will take on the role of Product Owner within the team, ensuring that the team is working towards the right goals and delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of development engineers to develop new products and technologies
  • Develop and maintain the development roadmap in consultation with business unit managers and R&D colleagues
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
  • Ensure that the team is working in an agile way, using scrum methodology
  • Take on the role of Product Owner within the team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in (technical) computer science
  • More than 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience of working in a scrum team
  • Knowledge of programming concepts (OOP, FP, etc.)
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages
