About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management Lead to join our team as the Credit Default Framework Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the compliant application of the Definition of Default framework by change implementation and business as usual parties across the Bank.

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable experience with and knowledge of Definition of Default regulation and its implementation. You will also bring structure, oversight, clarity on expectations and deliverables, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills to convey the compelling story and convince stakeholders of the call to action.

Responsibilities

  • Integration of the Definition of Default framework into the risk governance and control framework
  • Designing and implementing a Definition of Default change approval & deviations management process
  • Setting up and maintaining a Definition of Default register and pro-actively monitoring and reporting on Definition of Default compliance

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 12 years' relevant experience in the financial sector and specifically credit risk
  • Subject matter expertise in Definition of Default regulation and its implementation
  • Professional skills such as structure, oversight, clarity on expectations and deliverables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey the compelling story and convince stakeholders of the call to action
