We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability and Risk Strategist to join our Corporate Real Estate team at ASML. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and implement strategies that ensure the reliability and safety of our assets.

About the Role

In this key position, you will be responsible for managing the portfolio of reliability and availability risks within Corporate Real Estate NL. You will work closely with our teams to propose, evaluate, and execute risk mitigation activities, as well as develop and implement asset safety strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a consistent set of instruments and methodologies for reliability and risk management.
  • Translate business objectives into a priority model for prioritizing and planning BC and risk-related activities and costs.
  • Create and maintain a CRE risk matrix derived from the general ASML risk matrix.
  • Set up and maintain risk management processes, execute risk assessments, define mitigation plans, and develop business continuity plans.
  • Work with maintenance suppliers and the supply chain to identify risks and define necessary actions.
  • Serve as a sparring partner for reliability engineers in the supply chain.
  • Adept risk and compliance policies.
  • Initiate, coordinate, and/or execute risk and reliability assessments and business impact assessments.
  • Generate, maintain, and communicate business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Validate and/or conduct reviews of project designs and specifications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as process engineering or industrial risk & reliability engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in a design, engineering, maintenance, asset, or risk management function.
  • Proven track record in safety and/or reliability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented with a corresponding sense of responsibility; directs work and ensures accountability.
  • Social skills: emphatic, listening, enthusing, creating room for innovation/creativity, coaching & collaborating.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, dealing with senior and mid-level management, peers, teams, service providers, contractors, and consultants.
  • Decision-making skills in fast-changing and complex environments, capable of dealing with uncertainties.
  • Fluent in spoken and written business English.
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location of ASML Netherlands.
