About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Chapter Lead to join our team at ING Netherlands. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our IT chapter and driving our digital transformation strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the IT Chapter: You will be responsible for creating and safeguarding the professional culture within the IT chapter, ensuring that our team members are empowered to deliver high-quality results.
  • Embed Agile Principles: You will actively participate in embedding the Agile principles within our organization, ensuring that our teams are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Culture of Self-Development: You will put in place a culture of self-development and high-performing teams, ensuring that our team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • IT Maturity and Squad Mission: You will be responsible for managing and achieving IT maturity and the squad's mission, ensuring that our teams are delivering high-quality results and meeting our business objectives.
  • People and Chapter Management: You will be responsible for the personal development and evaluation of the chapter members, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Delivery: You will be a key member of the Squad Master, Chapter Lead, Engineering Lead, and Product Lead sessions, where ways to optimize performance and improvement of capabilities of the squad are discussed.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: You have strong technical skills, with at least 10 years of experience in the Java ecosystem.
  • Agile Expertise: You have a good understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • Leadership Skills: You have strong leadership skills, with experience in leading high-performing teams.
  • Communication Skills: You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and senior leaders.
