Your Role in Data Management

As an Enterprise Data Advisor at ABN AMRO Bank, you will play a pivotal part in the Data Management Grid, which is responsible for data lineage, sharing, sourcing, and consuming throughout the bank. This team works closely with business stakeholders and users from all business lines, as well as advisors, product owners, and other professionals within the Data Management Grid and Central Data Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align with Business Stakeholders: Advise on how data can bring value to the business, ensure processes are followed, and understand stakeholder needs.
  • Identify Improvement Opportunities: Identify potential improvements and gaps in existing products and processes, bringing an outside-in view on data distribution.
  • Translate Strategic Vision: Translate the strategic vision into functional implementation of products and processes, understanding the reasoning behind the data management vision.
  • Develop Policy Frameworks: Contribute to drafting and maintaining policy frameworks, policies, and standards for data distribution.
  • Create Awareness and Involvement: Develop learning materials, publications, information meetings, and other forms of communication to create awareness and involvement within the organization.
  • Responsible for Data Retention: Ensure the functional and technical aspects of data retention.

Working Environment

The Data Management Grid provides solutions to enable data domains to accelerate data-driven decisions. As a Data Advisor, you will be part of the Data Management Solutions Enablement teams within the Data Management Grid and Central Data Office, a central department of Innovation & Technology with a bank-wide responsibility for data management.

Your Profile

We are looking for a team player with a professional and open mindset focused on accelerating data distribution processes, bringing the organization forward in sourcing their data. You should have at least 3 years of experience in consulting, stakeholder management, and communication, with knowledge of data management and metadata management, new data integration concepts, and data management regulations.
