About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Metal Trader to join our team in the French market. As a key member of our client's growth strategy, you will play a crucial role in strengthening their purchasing position in France by acquiring metal products from key suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market trends and provide strategic insights to drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients to foster a positive business environment.
  • Navigate changing market conditions while addressing supplier needs to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage high-value weekly trades using market intelligence and internal data to maximize returns.
  • Lead negotiations, set prices, and oversee purchasing, delivery, and settlement processes to ensure efficient and effective transactions.
  • Travel occasionally to meet with clients and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years up to 5 years of commercial experience, with trading experience being a strong plus.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to foster a positive business environment.
  • Fluent in French (C2) speaking and writing is a must.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and/or English is a plus.
  • A driven, results-oriented mindset with a passion for the industry.
