Job Title: Senior VBA Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior VBA Developer to join our WDTech team at Walker & Dunlop. As a Senior VBA Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust and maintainable applications to automate real estate financial analysis tasks and generate reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Excel Macros/VBA Code to efficiently automate real estate financial analysis tasks and generate reports
  • Optimize scripts to pull data from the Enodo automated underwriting platform using VBA
  • Perform unit testing and end-to-end (e2e) testing to ensure the quality and reliability of tools and scripts
  • Ensure smooth delivery and support of new tools delivered
  • Maintain technical documentation and ensure that knowledge is shared with other members of the team
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of VBA Development experience (report automation, custom application development, bug/error fixing, migration)
  • 8+ years of experience in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros, modeling)
  • Experience and work samples from engagements with real estate or finance companies
  • Formal education in Computer Science (e.g., Community College classes on CS101 topics, Code School, or equivalent)
  • Knowledge/exposure to other coding languages (Python, C#, Java)
