**The Role**

We are seeking a skilled Functional Application Specialist to support our engineering functionalities in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform: Teamcenter. Your primary focus will be on optimizing engineering processes through innovative applications and driving efficiency across our projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Translate engineering business process needs into functional specifications for application developments.
  • Analyze issues collaboratively with stakeholders and devise solutions.
  • Develop and implement application processes and functionalities.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners.
  • Manage interfaces between applications and Teamcenter/TCRA.
  • Maintain user access rights administration within the application.
  • Setup and configure project environments within Teamcenter and TCRA.
  • Organize application-related training courses in coordination with the Manager Engineering Support.
  • Provide functional support to PLM/CAD users with regards to Teamcenter.
  • Prepare and develop Teamcenter/TCRA training materials, tips, application documentation, and user manuals.
  • Develop and maintain specific tools to support special needs for Engineering.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in shipbuilding or mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency with Teamcenter & TCRA applications (software).
  • Knowledge of PLM principles and experience with functional application management.
  • Excellent command of the English language, with proficiency in Dutch being advantageous.
  • Ability to work in Vlissingen and Schiedam locations, in The Netherlands.
  • Skilled in working with Microsoft Excel and preferably good knowledge of VBA (coding).
  • Excellent references and antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
