We are currently seeking a seasoned Manager of Finance and Financial Oversight due to an internal advancement. This role is pivotal in establishing our Financial Shared Service Center for our operations. You will lead a dedicated team of around 14 professionals, including Accountants and Financial Controllers. This position is hybrid and will report directly to the Director of Finance.

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded professional who is analytical, resourceful, and possesses a sense of humor along with situational awareness. You should have prior experience managing a significant team in a dynamic multinational setting. Key responsibilities will include driving simplification, automation, and ensuring comprehensive business processes are effectively managed.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Fostering a professional team environment;
  • Ensuring deadlines are consistently met (A/R, Payroll, Accruals, Financial Statements, Operations);
  • Collaborating with your team to understand departmental costs and providing necessary guidance;
  • Overseeing the general ledger for various entities;
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, tax, and local regulations, interpreting both new and existing legislation. Reporting will be conducted in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP;
  • Playing a crucial role in the company's financial management, which includes supervising all account reconciliations and reporting to relevant stakeholders;
  • Monitoring and participating in external audits;
  • Coordinating investigations and adjustments for discrepancies between IFRS and local GAAP;
  • Continuously improving accounting processes and automating administrative tasks, participating in ERP system upgrades;
  • Driving the development of an integrated Business Intelligence system.

What we require from you:

  • Fluent proficiency in both English and another language is essential;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Experience with SAP and Business Intelligence tools is advantageous;
  • Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus;
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
