About the Role

Serco is a leading Space Services Provider with a strong presence in the European space sector. We are seeking a highly skilled System Security Engineer to join our team in the Netherlands or Italy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats to ESA's information systems.
  • Establish and define security requirements for information systems based on security risk assessments and best practices.
  • Conduct in-depth security threat analysis to identify potential risks and develop security risk treatment plans.
  • Review and assess technical documentation to ensure compliance with security requirements and policies.
  • Support the certification and accreditation process for various projects to ensure they meet security standards.
  • Prepare and maintain security-related project documentation, including security instructions and compliance reports.
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Sciences, IT, Information Security, Engineering, or a relevant technical domain.
  • At least 3 years of experience in information security or a related field.
  • Experience performing security risk assessments, developing risk treatment plans, and defining security requirements.
  • Knowledge of security standards and frameworks such as ISO27000, NIST, MITRE, EBIOS.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and cooperate in a diverse international team environment.
  • Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken.
