Cloud Infrastructure Manager

CRH is seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Manager to lead our cloud strategy and operations. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for driving the efficiency of our cloud infrastructure, selecting and managing vendors, and ensuring that our cloud services meet the required Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a cloud strategy that aligns with CRH's business objectives
  • Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and deliver technical solutions that leverage cloud capabilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners to ensure seamless delivery of cloud services
  • Monitor and report on cloud service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in managing complex cloud environments, preferably with experience in virtualization, operating systems, databases, backup, and archiving
  • Proven track record of successfully transitioning workloads from on-premises data centers to the cloud, leveraging serverless and cloud-native technologies
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing Azure environments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an IT-related field
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
