Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team at VDL Enabling Transport Solutions. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on time. You will collaborate with a team of testers, software and electronics engineers, as well as various architects, to align and provide feedback to system owners and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and define the test setup;
  • Develop and implement test automation scripts within our framework/pipeline;
  • Execute test cases as required;
  • Analyze and report on test results;
  • Coordinate and support the test engineers, ensuring timely and quality deliveries;
  • Enhance the test team's methodologies for optimal efficiency and excellence.

Your Profile:

  • Demonstrated expertise as a senior tester at both system and software levels;
  • A solid grasp of test strategies and risk-based testing;
  • Knowledge of ISTQB and TMMi frameworks;
  • Ability to provide technical coaching to engineers;
  • Experience with dSpace Scalexio hardware and software;
  • Proficiency in implementing new processes within a HiL environment;
  • A thorough understanding of test automation frameworks and tools;
  • Skills in Python scripting and Matlab/Simulink;
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines;
  • Experience with connectivity tests and simulated driving environments is advantageous;
  • Background in the automotive industry, especially with EVs or AVs, is beneficial;
