Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize logistical processes by analyzing and balancing workload within the warehouse and logistics department.
  • Deliver load level, wave planning, and planning support to ensure efficient logistical processes.
  • Monitor the influx of outbound deliveries for the 5L Warehouse, ensuring timely and efficient supply to manufacturing.
  • Identify and analyze workload peaks, providing ad-hoc steering and advising on warehouse capacity re-scheduling.
  • Adjust delivery timing to level workload on an hourly basis, prioritizing critical deliveries.
  • Process delivery and/or delivery line cancellation requests, and prioritize changes.
  • Monitor and follow up on exception codes and alerts generated by EWM, providing first-line operational support.
  • Steer daily/weekly meetings to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders, providing weekly reports on performance and volume measurements.
  • Work closely with other Control Tower departments, Warehouse, Production Planning, 3PL, Manufacturing Services Engineering.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify improvement opportunities in the value chain, analyzing trends and defining planning-related processes.
  • Participate and/or drive continuous improvement projects, interacting with stakeholders.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Relevant Bachelor or Master degree in Operations Management & Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management.
  • 3-5 years of experience within Logistics / Supply Chain Management, with hands-on experience in a technical production/warehouse environment.
  • SAP knowledge, excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
