Job Title: Field Service Technician Contract

Elchemie is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team on a 12-24 month contract basis. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of our coating technology systems worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on coating technology systems
  • Assist customers with machine-related issues via phone, email, remote communication, and onsite visits
  • Install upgrades and modifications at customers' sites worldwide
  • Provide training to customers on operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems
  • Collaborate with Customer Support and Manufacturing colleagues
Requirements:
  • Tertiary technical qualification in Electrical Engineering (Trade/Diploma)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working as a traveling site technician in the coatings/manufacturing industry
  • Valid driving license
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Ability to travel worldwide for at least 50% of the time
