We are seeking highly skilled professionals to fill several positions for Senior Technical Officers/Technical Officers in our Genomics Core at the Centre for PanorOmic Sciences (CPOS) of the University of Hong Kong.

About the Role

The successful candidates will operate sophisticated scientific instruments, support core services and research, liaise with users, provide technical advice, and evaluate new technologies.

The Centre for PanorOmic Sciences is a leading institution in genomics research. Our team provides state-of-the-art facilities and expert support to researchers and students.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree or above in Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years' relevant laboratory work experience.
  • Strong passion in science and technologies.
  • A working knowledge of existing technologies and laboratory accreditation experience is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, conscientious, meticulous, and enjoy team work.
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
  • Competency in MS Office applications.
