Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Maintain product quality throughout the lifecycle, from development to post-launch support.
- Support the reporting, tracking, and resolution of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), quality alerts, and concessions.
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations to address and resolve quality issues from both software and hardware perspectives.
- Manage the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process, coordinating returns and repairs with suppliers and customers.
- Assist with diagnostics and basic repairs of electrical or mechanical components via the Return Material process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficient resolution of product issues.
- Monitor product quality performance through key metrics such as priority issues and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and Mean Time To Failure (MTTF).
- Currently pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field.
- A basic understanding of quality processes and methodologies (knowledge of APQP is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to learning.
- Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- We are flexible in when and where you work, but we encourage you to come to our vibrant office in Amsterdam multiple times a week.
- Whenever you come to the office, we cover your travel costs, either by car or with an NS business card.
- Work abroad for up to 1 month per year to visit family and friends and escape the Dutch weather.
