Installation Specialist

The Installation Specialist will be part of a team responsible for installing security systems at customer premises. This role requires a high level of initiative and autonomy, with flexibility to adapt to changing company needs and workload fluctuations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and install security systems in accordance with project requirements

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery

• Review project details to ensure understanding of contract conditions and equipment specifications

• Proactively notify customers and sales teams of any changes to project schedules or requirements

• Highlight potential profitability issues and concerns to the Project Manager

• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager

• Complete commissioning and completion certificates with assistance from Senior Engineers if needed

• Ensure timely handover of installations to customers, including client training and documentation

• Liaise with the Service Department to ensure smooth handover and provide important information about the system

• Provide feedback to improve installation processes and identify areas for improvement

• Supervise Junior Engineers and provide guidance on their progression

• Maintain accurate records of expenses, vehicle maintenance, and mobile telephone usage

• Comply with company procedures, including GDPR and ISO27001 requirements

• Carry out reasonable requests from management

Requirements:

• Professional dress code and identification at all times

• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment

Expenses and Vehicle Maintenance:

• Complete daily expenses sheets and submit by the 20th of each month

• Maintain the company vehicle in accordance with the Vehicle Operating Rules

• Keep the vehicle clean and in good working order

• Maintain the mobile telephone in full working order and report any issues to the Projects Administrator

Company Policies:

• Compliance with BS EN ISO9001 and NACOSS procedures

• Adherence to company GDPR and ISO27001 procedures and obligations

• Carrying out reasonable requests from management

Working Environment:

• Dress in a professional manner as fitting to the task being performed and as the representative of the company

• Carry identification at all times
