About the Role

Chart Industries is a leading global manufacturer of highly engineered equipment, servicing multiple applications in the clean energy and industrial gas markets. In this exciting opportunity, we are seeking an R&D Project Manager to join our New Product Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and delivering multidisciplinary projects for new product development and product improvements related to compressors and compression systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish project plans based on project requirements, risk analysis, and business case.
• Contribute to writing the business case for New Product Development projects.
• Lead projects to completion while ensuring control and forecasting of expenses, resources, quality of deliverables, and project schedule.
• Ensure projects are executed in compliance with the company NPD processes.
• Identify issues and propose mitigating actions.
• Take decisions on the project within the limit of authority.
• Keep stakeholders informed (internal or external).
• Propose improvements in project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent level.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Knowledge of design processes and tools.
• Good communication skills in English – ability to influence and convince.
• Self-starter and able to work efficiently in small teams.
• Experience with an ERP system.
• Knowledge in rotating equipment.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on process orientation.
• Experience with various project management techniques.
