Planning & Control Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Planning & Control Specialist to join our team at Amsterdam UMC. As a key member of our division, you will play a crucial role in supporting the line management and director of business operations in financial, operational, and process-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the Planning & Control cycle on various levels within the division.
- Collaborate with departments to create and maintain year plans and quarterly reports, including forecasts and explanations of significant deviations.
- Collect and analyze business-economic data from the division, using available information from business units, systems, and databases.
- Identify and report deviations and developments to line management, the director of business operations, and the central P&C advisor, providing insights into potential short- and medium-term consequences and advising on necessary actions.
- Analyze, comment on, and process information to create reports in response to specific business-economic questions (e.g., business cases, cost prices).
- A completed HBO/WO degree in a business-related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical thinking and numerical skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in Power BI being an asset.
- Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
- Experience in the healthcare sector and familiarity with business-economic issues in healthcare is an advantage.
- A 1-year contract with the possibility of a permanent position.
- A salary scale 11, 10: € 4,498 to € 6,156 gross per month (depending on education and experience), plus an 8.3% end-of-year bonus and 8% holiday allowance.
