Senior IT Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Auditor/Compliance Officer to play a key role in protecting our organization's technology and business assets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team, Head office, and the rest of the organization to protect all our technology and business assets.
- Translate policies focused on information security and privacy management into practical and reusable IT criteria and solutions.
- Coordinate with the organization-wide CISO office and colleagues within other IT departments.
- Monitor compliance and assess the effectiveness of information security and privacy policies.
- Provide both solicited and unsolicited advice to management regarding compliance with information security and privacy.
- Support management and internal and external stakeholders concerning information security and privacy.
- Develop and maintain the control framework for security and privacy policies.
- Monitor compliance and assess the effectiveness of Information Security, IT Continuity, and Privacy assessments, documenting findings in audits.
- Support colleagues in their professional development.
- Analyze and report periodically on information security and privacy.
Qualifications:
- Academic working and thinking level (preferably EDP Auditor / RO / RE).
- Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of the IT domain.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- At least one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
- Solid knowledge of ISO / and VIR/BIO.
- Fluency in Dutch.
