Drive continuous improvement initiatives and mentor project teams to meet operational savings objectives. Apply, instruct, and advocate effective project management methodologies utilizing Goodyear's tools and techniques. Collaborate with Finance to ensure precise reporting at the project level.Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Plant Manager in identifying suitable projects. Oversee and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives. Propel activities aligned with the Plant Optimization Pillar. Facilitate the execution of workplace organization and production flow strategies. Take necessary measures to uphold and enhance the Plant Optimization Pillar framework. Aid the Plant Manager in reviewing and consolidating monthly performance reports. Provide support for project advancement as needed. Champion cross-functional projects, engaging regularly with team members to ensure alignment with continuous improvement strategies. Offer coaching in focused improvement and guarantee the availability of resources. Recognize training needs for plant optimization and arrange relevant training sessions with team members.Qualifications:
Education:
A degree in Engineering.
Language Proficiency:
Proficiency in English is essential. A willingness to learn Dutch is appreciated.
Experience:
Background in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies in a manufacturing context. Strong understanding of human factors in implementation processes. Experience as a project manager or project sponsor.Skills & Competencies:
Project Management expertise. Solid knowledge of Plant Optimization methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Effective motivational and coaching capabilities.
