We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team at Picnic, a leading online supermarket in Europe. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our product categories.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing category strategies to drive sales and profitability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and implement changes
- Managing relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts
- Analyzing data to inform category decisions and optimize operations
- Leading and developing a team of category specialists
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Category Manager who is passionate about food and consumer products. Key qualifications include:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, marketing, supply chain)
- 1-4 years of experience in a commercial or analytical role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English
