Reliability Specialist

As a Reliability Engineer at Accell Nederland, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and quality of our bicycles, components, and accessories. Your primary goal is to guarantee that all our bicycles meet the highest safety standards and exceed customer expectations.

About the Role

As a Reliability Engineer, you will work closely with our design, test, and production teams to predict, assess, and test the safety and functionality of our products under various conditions. Your keen eye for reliability, quality, and customer satisfaction will help you identify and predict potential problems, think in terms of risks and solutions, and deliver a safe and reliable bicycle.

Responsibilities

• Determining and verifying product specifications during NPI projects to ensure operational reliability and safety within set product specifications and timelines.
• Drafting test protocols and reliability processes in consultation with Compliance, Test Engineers.
• Initiating and guiding complex tests and developing relevant test setups within CRT test facilities or external test facilities.
• Providing support in collecting and analyzing (field) data for decision-making and test protocols.
• Conducting risk analyses such as FMECA or RCA and making predictions based on failure rates.
• Evaluating and documenting (external) reports, documents, and findings.

Requirements

• A completed HBO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a combined field.
• Knowledge and work experience with various tools for reliability, statistics, risk assessment, and analyses.
• Knowledge of mechanical, chemical, and environmental tests such as temperature, corrosion, vibrations, UV, and IP tests.
• Familiarity with quality requirements and current standards and regulations for relevant products.
• Knowledge of production methods, materials, measurement techniques, and testing methods.
